Hôtel Place d’Armes is a prestigious hotel complex built between the walls of three 19th century heritage buildings: the Great Scottish Life Insurance building, La Banque du Peuple former headquarters, the Caisse nationale d’économie building and the Alexander-Cross building. The latter accommodates the third phase of the hotel complex.

The interior layout and design are a balanced fusion of classical and contemporary styles. The building preserves the historic appearance of the area while displaying the latest trends in luxury hotels.

The third phase of Hôtel Place d’Armes encompasses 45 hotel rooms, including six suites with private rooftop terraces. The project received the Commercial Building Heritage Award from the Greater Montréal Real Estate Board in 2008 for the exceptional restoration of its façade on Saint-Jacques Street.
